This is the view from the bridge viewing area. This used to be an undeveloped piece of land where the geese hung out, now it is a beautiful park where people can view the bridge and get information and there is even picnic area's to have lunch or dinner on a nice warm day.Thursday, December 13, 2007

Do you live on St.Ignace? and is that a bridge to main land?
St. Ignace is not an Island. The bridge connects the Upper Penninsula and Lower Penninsula's of Michigan. St. Ignace is the first town after crossing the bridge heading North. The island that is near by is Mackinac Island, which you can take a plane to get there year round, or summer's you can take a ferry boat and winter's if the ice is solid you can get there by snowmobile.
